Fishing with Mid-Atlantic Assoicates

Date: Thu, August 5th 2010

Location: Inshore from Oregon Inlet

The winds kept us close to shore today, we thought.  We had a good catch of Spainish and Blues right off the start and then discussions led to ... lets go off-shore.  We headed to the tower and had zero luck on the AJ’s, then headed out deeper for the blue water.  NOAA got the forecast correct today, 6 on 6!  Capt. Trey landed one really nice Yellowfin Tuna, sea sickness broke out for a few and we decided to head in.  Great, but rough day to be on the water.  I’ll bet we will have the most talked about inshore trip on the OBX this week.
